Established in 2012, “Sauce This BBQ” was the creation of local pit master Danny Youngblood in association with fellow grilling aficionados Mark Kenney and Darryl Anderson. Our love for barbecuing, good food, and sharing that with friends and family, brought the team together with a common goal. That common goal is to satisfy appetites by producing the best smoked meats anywhere around!
Sauce This BBQ will be competing in many of the area’s annual barbecue competitions. Feel free to always stop by our booth and talk barbecue, football, baseball, curling, or poker strategy.

Danny is the teams 'Pitmaster' and rules with an iron fist. He has smoked meat in his backyard for decades before deciding to try his hand at the KCBS competition Level. When not BBQing, reading about BBQing, or talking about BBQ Danny runs a business for tile and floor installation.
Mark is our teams Rib specialist. He jumped on the BBQ competition idea with Danny after years of sub-par golfing. He has too many hobbies over the years to list(curling, pen making, micro-electronics, building a CAM milling machine, etc.). He is a self-employed computer programmer and systems developer by trade.
The Chicken-Man! Darryl is in charge of the team's chicken. He looks forward to prepping chicken and is a talented knife handler. When not cooking, Darryl is a HR Specialist for a international scientific testing company.
Ryan is the teams newest addition. He will be heading up our Chicken Wings and Anything Butt cooks. He is also the teams chief taste tester with an uncanny ability to predict our finishing spot. When not cooking he works at a wildlife research company.
